My Corvette doesn’t really have paint on it as it sits. I’ll eventually repaint it and while that’s a long ways off, its a fun game to imagine what color it will be. the car comes with a black interior and was, from the factory, Daytona Yellow. What color would you paint it?

My Cougar was a similar shade of yellow from the factory. I see so few (meaning zero) in this color that I’m pretty sure that’s my eventual respray color.
Seems every Vette I see is blue, silver, or red. Yellow would be a cool change of pace.

My front runners are the above yellow and dark green. Good point about the rarity!

Love orange ‘Vettes.

Dark green is still in the back of my mind as well, a Bullitt themed Cougar sounds fun.

Personally, I love deep metallic colors, but I’m honestly not big on color changes unless it’s a thorough frame-off restoration. I just don’t like seeing other colors in the door jambs, firewall, etc...

I’m partial to a dark cherry red.

I’d go with orange or green. Yellow just doesn’t seem like a C3 color to me.

Beige metallic flake. What? I like weird cars.

How about the new Blue on the Z06?

I’m a fan of the dark green, but then green has been my favorite color for as long as I can remember. If only they sold the E90 M3 in green.

I’m biased, but Atomi Orange is best.
It looks great on the c3 too.

Body is coming off the frame, don’t you worry. This is a project I’m budgeting about 2 years for. Also I’m not a fan of modern colors on old cars.

Going all-out, huh? Sweet!
*Googles 1970 Corvette colors* Ooh, that Marlboro Maroon’s pretty sexy (though it might actually go better with a light-colored interior). I kinda like Bridgehampton Blue, too.

I’ve been dying to do a classic in Nardo Grey. If you do it, sure would save me a lot of money.

If you are staying with 1970 colors? Mulsanne Blue or Cortez Silver.

Bridgehampton Blue
It's one of those colors that looks dark at night, but lights up in the sun.

I support both of those choices.

This or a split window are the only Vettes I like.

Since it’s a good color already just stick with factory. It’s a much better shade than the PMY that came on later C3's

Where I grew up ... some lady drove a yellow 68 Corvette with Oninring on the plates. The best color, though? Yellow.
